Earlier this year we worked alongside West Dean Parish Council to offer our first community grants to the local community of Bream in the Forest of Dean.
As part of our commitment to create a lasting positive social impact in the communities where we develop our buildings, we offered £10,000 in funding to Bream residents where we were building a new convenience store for Mid Counties Co-op.
We are delighted to have been able to support seven local groups with funding. Grants were awarded to the rugby, cricket and football clubs, the newly established 'Bream Friends' a local support group helping people post the Covid-19 pandemic, the local preschool and primary school to create outdoor forest school areas for the children and BreamFest a local music and entertainment festival taking place for the whole community during the August bank holiday weekend.
We wish all the grant recipients much success with their respective projects.
